Payment Options
BenefitHelp Solutions allows you to choose the payment option that best suits your needs. You can change your current payment option by printing and completing the Pay Type Form; then mailing the form to BenefitHelp Solutions.
Pension Deduction
Your premium is deducted from your Oregon Public Employees Retirement System (PERS) pension account each month.
You must meet all three of the following requirements to be eligible for Pension Deduction.
- You must have a PERS pension
- Your entire premium
amount is deducted
(Part of your premium is not being paid by a subsidy or contribution) - Your available pension will cover the premium
Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT)
Your premium is automatically deducted from your checking account on the first of each month.
- EFT is available for all members who have a checking or savings account.
- Be sure to attach a voided check with your request for EFT.
- EFT members do not receive monthly invoice.
Self Pay
The Self Pay option allows you to pay us by check or money order each month. BenefitHelp Solutions will send you a premium statement each month, for the next month’s premium.
- Self Pay option provides monthly premium statements.
- You send your premium payment by check or money order directly to BenefitHelp Solutions.
